Scout Revolutionizes Supplier Performance Management with Newest Solution

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Scout RFP, a leader in cloud-based strategic eSourcing solutions and winner of 8 coveted industry awards, today announced the release of its latest product innovation: Supplier Performance Management. It will be released at SPARK, Scout's annual customer conference, taking place in San Francisco on February 27, 2018. The event will bring together over 300 sourcing professionals and will feature Scout customers including easyJet, Adobe, Splunk, Owens Corning, Uber, and VSP Global.

Supplier Performance Management facilitates proactive analysis of business impact and historical tracking of supplier performance via streamlined collaboration between sourcing teams, business stakeholders, and suppliers. Using the Supplier Performance Management module within Scout, sourcing teams can consistently assess suppliers at scale and oversee development plans. This helps CPOs and their teams manage risk and ensures ongoing compliance. Features focused on seamless collaboration — from customized templates to role-specific alerts — put teams and stakeholders on the same page and keep projects on pace.

Scout has built a reputation on its high adoption, enjoyable user experience, and quick time to value. The company's VP of Product, Chris Crane, noted that the new release answers a pain long felt by sourcing teams: "At Scout, our goal is to make sure that every line of code helps you increase your impact — and Supplier Performance is our answer to the age-old sourcing issue of maximizing value from supplier relationships. Using this new Scout module, sourcing teams can move beyond purely transactional supplier management to something far more strategic."

Scout's Supplier Performance Management solution was developed following extensive feedback sessions with customers and usability tests. VSP Global was one such customer consulted. "Scout has helped us drive strategic value across our sourcing efforts. The Supplier Performance Management solution enables us to better manage key supplier relationships to drive enhanced business outcomes," said Greg Tennyson, CPO of VSP Global.

This release is part of a larger Supplier Management product launch that will roll out throughout 2018. To learn more about Supplier Performance Management, or Scout, visit www.scoutrfp.com.
