ScriptSafe Launches Payment Certification for Pharmacies, With Online Advertising Certification Coming Next

What ScriptSafe does

ScriptSafe verifies what a pharmacy is licensed to do, against the state boards and federal databases that actually license it. The ScriptSafe system and team run a 152-point verification against all 50 state boards, the DEA, and federal databases, then issue a written decision within 7 to 10 business days. Certification covers a full year, with the pharmacy's licenses and website monitored every night.

For payment processors and online advertising platforms

ScriptSafe does not take the pharmacy's word for it, and it does not stop checking after approval. Every night, ScriptSafe checks the pharmacy's website to confirm the prescription requirement is still in place, what the pharmacy sells has not changed, and licenses and board standing are current. APC members pay $1,348. The same documents go to the processor's underwriting team, so the pharmacy fills out one application instead of two.
