SDI Appoints Security Industry Executive David Sullivan as CEO

CHICAGO, May 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SDI (System Development Integration, LLC), a national systems integrator specializing in advanced technologies for security and critical infrastructure, announces the appointment of security industry executive David Sullivan as its Chief Executive Officer. Founder David A. Gupta, SDI's previous CEO, will continue with the company as Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors.

As CEO, Sullivan will manage the company's national day-to-day operations with assistance from SDI's existing senior leadership team. Sullivan brings 30 years of management experience in the security industry in both manufacturing and systems integration. His previous positions include executive leadership roles at Ingersoll Rand (security products manufacturer), Destron Fearing (manufacturer of animal identification products), and Fargo Electronics (desktop printer manufacturer). Sullivan has also held senior level positions with HID Global (security identity solutions) and Identification Technology Group (RFID and card manufacturer).

Sullivan's experience complements SDI's blended IT and security solutions, which are in high demand from its growing commercial and government client base in order to run their enterprises safely and at maximum performance – from integrated digital video and access control, to command centers leveraging converged infrastructure, to transformative, cloud-based managed services programs.
