SAN DIEGO, March 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced today the creation of the Center for Advancing Global Business (CAGB). The center will house SDSU's Center for International Business Education and Research (SDSU CIBER) program and Charles W. Hostler Institute on World Affairs.
The CAGB was established to support academic research, international internship/study programs, assisting local businesses develop international markets, and other programs designed to expand global business education. Furthermore, the CAGB will provide support and information to SDSU's students and faculty, the San Diego regional business community, and global business leaders and academics on a worldwide basis.
"The CAGB represents the continuing and expanding global business education impact of the Fowler College of Business," said Lance Nail, Thomas & Evelyn Page Dean at the Fowler College of Business. "Current and future graduates must understand the complexities of operating and interacting within a global environment. The center advances our college's ability to continuously educate global business leaders both as students and, later, as graduates."
