Corporate services and tenant representation expert to provide industrial practice group with leadership and oversight
INDIANAPOLIS, March 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Bill Ehret, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm's Indianapolis office, announced today the strategic hiring of veteran commercial real estate professional Sean McHale.
Effective immediately, McHale becomes a Principal of Avison Young and will focus on corporate services and tenant representation for the company's growing Indianapolis office. He will also lead new business development for the firm's industrial practice group in the Indianapolis market. McHale was most recently a Principal with Resource Commercial Real Estate (formerly Colliers International) in Indianapolis, where he focused on industrial leasing and development.

McHale brings 21 years of commercial real estate industry experience to Avison Young. During his career, he has been involved in all aspects of commercial real estate in the Indianapolis market. Prior to joining Colliers, he was a Vice-President at Equis Corporation, where he led the industrial services group in Indianapolis for nearly 11 years. McHale started his real estate career at Duke Realty as a senior leasing representative for an industrial team dedicated to leasing and managing a 20-million-square-foot industrial portfolio predominantly located within Park 100 Business Park, a premier industrial park located on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

McHale holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and business management from Miami University of Ohio. He was named a CoStar Power Broker from 2011 to 2014 and earned Top Producer credentials from Colliers International-Indianapolis. He is affiliated with several commercial real estate organizations, including the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors (ICBR) and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He also volunteers with the American Heart Association and Special Olympics-Boone County.
