Sec. Manderino Continues 'Jobs that Pay' Tour in Bucks County
Stops include Roundtable Discussion and VitaCare Home Health Agency Tour
BUCKS COUNTY, Pa., March 7, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry Secretary Kathy Manderino today continued the "Jobs that Pay" tour at CareerLink® Bucks County in Bristol and at VitaCare Home Health Agency, in Feasterville. At the CareerLink®, Manderino participated in a business roundtable hosted by the Bucks County Workforce Development Board with several area health care agencies participating.

According to L&I's Center for Workforce Information & Analysis, the Health Care and Social Assistance industry is expected to see a 19.1 percent increase in employment between 2012 and 2022. Home Health Care Services employment is Pennsylvania will increase by nearly 50 percent in that same time frame.
Manderino followed the roundtable meeting with a tour of the VitaCare Home Health Agency headquarters. VitaCare matches patients with visiting nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, home health aides and personal care aides. VitaCare has a very diverse workforce, and is able to provide services to patients in many different languages. The agency also won the 2014 Award for Safety Excellence.
