Second Mortgage Week Brings 10 Nosebleed Stakes Events to Americas Cardroom

Five playing days feature buy-ins from $5,200 to $25,500.

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Americas Cardroom will bring Second Mortgage Week to OSS XL from September 21-28, offering 10 Nosebleed Stakes events across five playing days with buy-ins as high as $25,500.

Two tournaments are scheduled on each playing day. The lineup spans No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha, plus 6-max and 8-max formats.

The schedule peaks Sunday, September 27, with a $25,500 NLH 8-Max. That event shares the day with Day 1B of the $2.5 million guaranteed $2,650 Main Event and $2 million guaranteed $1,050 Main Event. Day 2 of the $500,000 guaranteed $66 Main Event is also scheduled that day.

Second Mortgage Week concludes Monday, September 28, with a $15,400 NLH 8-Max and a $5,200 NLH 6-Max R/A event.

"The great thing about the Nosebleed Stakes events is that you get to watch top-level poker players compete every day," Chris Moneymaker said. He added that fellow Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen and David Peters are expected to play. Moneymaker also hopes to repeat his win from the previous Nosebleed Stakes Series.

Every completed final table can also be studied with the hole cards exposed through the FT Replayer.

OSS XL runs September 6-29 with 336 events and more than $50 million in guarantees. The series also offers more than $60,000 in added cash and tournament tickets through three leaderboard levels.
