Seiki Delivers Simplified Connected 4K Ultra HD And HD TV Experience With Muse™ Streaming Media

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- (2015 CES) -- With the goal of delivering a more affordable and straightforward streaming media experience, Seiki (www.seiki.com), a leading brand in HD and emerging 4K Ultra HD display market, today introduced Muse™ Streaming Media service for its line of Seiki Pro 4K Ultra HD Connected and Seiki HD TVs. Muse features simple and direct access to popular streaming media channels—such as Netflix™, YouTube™, VUDU™, Toon Googles™, Pandora™, and AccuWeather™—with less complexity and without the cost associated with Smart TV features or set-top boxes.

Seiki will offer its Muse service in its upcoming Seiki Pro 4K Ultra HD Connected TV models in screen sizes of 40-, 50-, 55- and 65-inch by Q2 2015. Muse HD TV models will include 32-, 40-, 42, 43-, 50-, 55- and 65-inch screen sizes available by Q1 2015.

Feature list for the Seiki Pro 4K Ultra HD Connected and Seiki HD TV Muse models include:

• Direct-lit LED panel technology with 4K Ultra HD (Seiki Pro) or Full HD (Seiki) resolutions
• Muse Streaming Media with pre-loaded streaming channels including Netflix, YouTube, VUDU, Toon Googles, Pandora, and AccuWeather
• Remote control with dedicated streaming channel buttons 
• Built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet port
• Multiple HDMI (including HDMI 2.0 connection for Seiki Pro 4K Ultra HD Connected models) and digital audio connections

The Seiki Muse Streaming Media TV models will be available through online and brick-and-mortar retailers, and suggested retail pricing will be announced closer to product availability.
