Select Energy Services and Fountain Quail Water Management Execute Joint Venture

HOUSTON, Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Select Energy Services, LLC (Select), today announced a joint venture with Fountain Quail Water Management (Fountain Quail), wholly-owned subsidiary of Aqua-Pure Ventures, Inc., a premier recycler of oilfield and shale gas wastewater.  The companies recently completed a recycling project in the Permian region for a large, public, independent E&P company, which has successfully treated and recycled nearly 300,000 barrels of water on site. 

Under the agreement, Fountain Quail will contribute technical expertise and equipment to Select's water management solutions, while Select will provide capital necessary to expand Fountain Quail's capabilities.  Both companies will leverage current energy producer partnerships to expand business opportunities.

The agreement has solidified Fountain Quail's ROVER mobile water treatment package, which addresses one of the most pressing challenges for operators in unconventional oil and gas plays.  The ROVER is a cost-effective, in-field technology that can treat up to 10,000 barrels of flowback and produced water per day, outputting clean brine that can be re-used in a broad range of drilling operations.
