HOUSTON, Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seminole Energy Services, LLC (Seminole), announced two new additions to its executive team. Dan Hawk was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, while Pat Giroir was named Executive Vice President, Midstream.
"The industry experience and expertise Dan Hawk and Pat Giroir bring to Seminole are the perfect complement to our leadership team," said Jason Few, President and CEO for Seminole. "The diversity of their experience, bias toward action and industry relationships combined with that of our other executives provides Seminole with a unique skill set that is well-suited for the aggressive period of growth underway at our company."
Most recently, Hawk served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Davis Petroleum. Prior to Davis, he served as vice president and treasurer for Burlington Resources, Inc., where he managed corporate finance and risk management. Before Burlington, Hawk served as vice president and treasurer for Vastar as well as in various leadership positions with Apache Corporation, Mark Producing, Getty Oil and Texaco.
Hawk earned his bachelor's degree from Drake University where he majored in accounting and actuarial science. He obtained his MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Chicago. Hawk is also a CPA and holds a certification in cash management.
Giroir joins Seminole from Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LLP, where he served as president for Boardwalk Field Services.
