Senior Business Executive Pat Cathey Joins ClearDATA as Chief Revenue Officer
AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearDATA, a healthcare exclusive, HITRUST CSF-certified managed cloud company, announced today that accomplished business executive Pat Cathey has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. Cathey is a veteran business leader with a proven track record of consistently exceeding business targets while building high-value relationships with customers and business partners.
Cathey brings more than three decades of experience in sales/marketing, consulting and client relations to ClearDATA from Fujitsu Americas, Rackspace, Avnet, Arrow Electronics and IBM. He will lead the ClearDATA sales and marketing team and work to establish both long and short range goals, strategies, plans and policies.
At Fujitsu Americas, Cathey led the top performing business unit, consistently exceeding fiscal year revenue goals. As Vice President of Sales for Rackspace, Cathey led the Americas sales team and time and again broke monthly all-time revenue records. As a Senior Vice President at Avnet, he had full P&L responsibility for a $575M business unit and was part of the M&A team. He achieved customer loyalty results far exceeding all major competitors with numerous customer and supplier awards including: Philips Medical Systems Best Overall Supplier Award (three straight years), GE Healthcare Supplier Excellence Award (two years in a row), and AMD's Best Distributor of the Year Award (five consecutive years). At Arrow he delivered the highest return on working capital results of any operating unit. At IBM, where he worked for more than 15 years, he successfully led OEM teams in the United States and EMEA to deliver world-class data storage solutions through direct and indirect channels.
