LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla., Aug. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch, a Senior Lifestyle planned community, celebrated its grand opening on August 18 by welcoming more than 350 staff, residents, professionals, and members of the greater Sarasota community to officially open the community to the public.
The premier assisted living and memory care community is part of a series of communities that are opening throughout the year to commemorate Senior Lifestyle's, an industry-leading owner, operator and developer of senior living communities, 30th anniversary.
Residents of the newly-constructed community have access to a variety of activities and on-site amenities including chef-prepared meals made with locally-sourced ingredients, QuietCare Wellness Monitoring, award-winning memory care, and 24-hour access to licensed care staff.
The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch was also selected as a pilot community for Embrace, Senior Lifestyle's newest memory care programming that focuses on a holistic, well-being approach to memory care.
