Senior Living Facility Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center Receives Long-Awaited Investment and Improvements

DULUTH, Minn., Aug. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center, a senior living facility that has been serving the Duluth, MN community for the past several decades, is now receiving updates from its new owners, Paragon Healthcare Group. Located on the scenic shore of Lake Superior, the center has been providing short term rehab, long term care, and memory care and will work with Paragon Healthcare Group to implement new improvements.

Paragon Healthcare Group has helped Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center shift its sole focus to the care and well-being of its short term and long term residents. In doing so, Paragon Healthcare Group is helping remove the "nursing home stigma" from Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center and elevating the facility to be a premier senior residence and rehabilitation center.

Other significant improvements include a complete overhaul of the short term rehab program to accommodate Medicare patients. The changes include adding new therapies and activities, a new therapy room, more dining options, including fresh ingredients and variety, and private room upgrades.

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation has also invested in new training and equipment to better accommodate patients requiring specialized complex care, such as bariatric patients, wound care, and tracheostomy care.
