Sentinel Receives Third ISO 9001:2015 Certification in Less Than 18 Months
Global certification standard for quality management systems extended to include field operations at branch offices across the U.S. Investment in ISO 9001:2015 certifications is part of a company-wide strategic initiative focusing on continuous quality improvement of products and services.
ANAHEIM, Calif., March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Sentinel Offender Services LLC announced today it has successfully completed its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Recertification Audit. Sentinel expanded the scope of its quality management program to include certification of its field operations. Field operations consist of branch offices across the U.S. from which the company delivers community-based offender management programs and services. The addition of the company's remote field offices to its ISO scope is an expansion to an already robust set of ISO certifications.
The successful completion of this recertification audit is confirmation that Sentinel maintains policies, procedures, and processes that are designed to meet customer and compliance requirements. According to ISO, the 9001:2015 certifications are designed to help organizations achieve sustained success through the implementation of effective quality management systems. To achieve ISO 9001:2015 Certification, Sentinel documented the policies and procedures necessary to support the production and delivery of electronic monitoring technologies, monitoring center services, and community-based offender management programs. The certification process included the review and observance of each documented process by an independent auditor.
