SentryBay Signs Global OEM Agreement with Mobile Active Defense

LONDON, Feb. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Security specialist SentryBay today announced that it has signed a new OEM agreement with Mobile Active Defense, the Smartphone Security Company, to jointly develop its new consumer Mobile Security product. Under the terms of the new agreement Mobile Active Defense and SentryBay will apply its award-winning enterprise-level smartphone security software with its secure browsing technology on iPhones, iPads, Nokia/Symbian, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Google Android phones.  

Available through selected value-added resellers and distribution partners, SentryBay's Mobile Security product will be aimed at consumers protecting their identity and data when communicating via smartphone or tablet. It will also be suitable for retail banks to provide their customers with the ability to carry out mobile transactions securely, offering added-value security, including remote lock/wipe, anti-malware, anti-spam and content filtering. The new product will be on sale in the U.S. and the U.K. from April 2011.
