SerialTek Names Steve Wong Director of Marketing and Product Management

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SerialTek, a leader in storage protocol analysis and test is pleased to announce Steve Wong has joined the company as a Director.  In this role, Wong will oversee the company's marketing and product management operations. 

Wong brings nearly a decade of test and measurement industry experience to SerialTek.  He served as the VP of Marketing for ClearSight Networks, an enterprise network monitoring and analysis vendor that was acquired by Fluke Networks.  Wong was a Director at Finisar's Network Tools division where he had product management responsibilities for the company's market-leading Fibre Channel, Serial Attached SCSI (SAS), and Serial ATA (SATA) analyzers and test tools.  Wong started his test and measurement career at Anritsu, where he led initiatives to develop Ethernet/IP technologies for the company's analyzer and traffic generation platforms.

The company recently announced a new portable 12G SAS analyzer, the Micro II, with a unique built-in eye diagram display capability.  SerialTek also participated in the most recent SAS Plugfest held at University of New Hampshire during the week of September 22, 2014.  SerialTek will also be participating at the PCI SIG Compliance Workshop in Taipei, Taiwan during the week of October 27, 2014.
