Service King continues Florida growth through acquisition of Auto World Paint and Body
RICHARDSON, Texas, June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Service King Collision Repair Centers, an industry leading multi-state operator of high-quality collision repair services, today announced another step forward in its strategic growth plan with the acquisition of Auto World Paint and Body in Jacksonville, Fla.
Service King and Auto World mutually agreed upon terms of the partnership before closing the acquisition on Friday, June 19. With the announcement, Service King now offers its superior repair service at three Jacksonville locations and 14 across the state of Florida.

Auto World, owned and operated by Steve and Carla Horne, has provided the Jacksonville area collision repair services for more than 38 years. In 1986, the husband and wife team moved the business into its current 22,000-square-foot facility at 8929 Atlantic Boulevard.
