GELNHAUSEN, Germany, April 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - The patent infringement dispute between Litens and Dayco in Germany regarding the Dayco belt tensioners ATB2007, ATB2253 and the belt tensioners being part of the kits KTB486, KTB441 and KTB296 and the European patent EP 1412659 B1 (District Court Mannheim, docket number 2 O 112/13; invalidity action: Federal Patent Court, docket number 4 Ni 33/13) has been settled. According to an agreement between Litens, Latco and Dayco, Litens will not pursue any further the claims raised against Dayco and Dayco ceased to manufacture the belt tensioners being subject to the infringement proceedings.
