NEW YORK, Jan. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Seven Bucks Productions, co-founded by Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia, in partnership with Imperative Entertainment, today announced a script deal with FOX, adding a new drama project, Boost Unit (working title), to its diverse programming roster. The show is being written by Jonny Umansky and Zach Hyatt.
Boost Unit is a high-octane, action-packed hour that follows the newest recruit of the LAPD's Auto Theft Task Force, a notorious getaway driver with a hidden past. The project captures Johnson's trademark edge and humor as well as the turbo-charged speed of the Fast and the Furious franchise.

Boost Unit marks the first project produced jointly by Seven Bucks Productions and Imperative Entertainment. Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Jonny Umansky and Zach Hyatt will serve as executive producers on the project.
