Seventeen Rosewood Hotels & Resorts Recognized On The 2019 'Forbes Travel Guide' Star Rating List

HONG KONG, Feb. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Rosewood Hotels & Resorts^® is pleased to announce that seventeen of the ultra-luxury hotel group's properties have been recognized on Forbes Travel Guide's 2019 Star Rating list. The only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, Forbes Travel Guide's annual list has been revered as a global authority on travel since its launch in 1958. Based on the experiences of a highly qualified team of anonymous inspectors who assess over 1,600 entities against up to 900 of the most stringent industry standards, the resulting rating system offers designations for Five-Star, Four-Star and Recommended Properties. The 2019 list recognizes a record number of Rosewood properties, representing both repeat honourees as well as several first-time winners. Of those featured, seven properties were awarded Five-Star ratings, nine properties received Four-Star ratings and one property received a Recommended rating. Three of Rosewood's newest properties - Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, Rosewood Puebla and Rosewood Sanya - are featured on the list for the first time this year.  Of equal note, 2019 marks the seventh consecutive Five-Star rating for Rosewood Hotel Georgia, the fifth consecutive Five-Star rating for Rosewood Sand Hill and Rosewood Mayakoba, the fourth consecutive Five-Star rating for Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort and the second consecutive Five-Star rating for Rosewood Beijing. Rosewood Washington, D.C. and Rosewood Abu Dhabi have also maintained their Four-Star ratings for the second year in a row.
