Seyfarth Shaw And Brown Brothers Harriman To Host Free Legal Services Fair In Boston

BOSTON, Oct. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seyfarth Shaw and Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) today announced their partnership in hosting a free legal services fair for the Dorchester/Roxbury community. The fair will be held at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps and Community Center on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Featuring representatives from many of Boston's top legal aid agencies, including Greater Boston Legal Services, Volunteer Lawyer's Project, Disability Law Center, Women's Bar Foundation, Victim's Rights Law Center and Lawyer's Clearinghouse, community members can seek free counsel on a wide range of important legal matters. Lawyers will be available to advise on issues related to immigration, domestic abuse, social security, employment, unemployment, CORI, education, public benefits, civil rights, landlord-tenant, foreclosure prevention, family law, custody, bankruptcy and small business advice.

In addition to organizing the free legal services fair, volunteers from Seyfarth and BBH will be working on site to assist residents and help direct them to the proper legal aid agency for their needs.
