SF&P Advisors Provides Strategic Partnership Services on Sun Capital Affiliate's Successful Acquisition of Horizon Services

BOCA RATON, Fla., April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SF&P Advisors, one of the country's leading business sales and valuation firms to the HVAC and plumbing industry, announced today the successful completion of its most recent transaction. SF&P provided strategic partnership services to an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc., a leading private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts and investments in market-leading companies, in its acquisition of Horizon Services. Wilmington, Delaware-based Horizon Services is a leading residential provider of plumbing, heating and air conditioning services for the Mid-Atlantic region.

SF&P Advisors was instrumental in facilitating the deal from its earliest stages. In particular, the firm was responsible for identifying the two partners independently, analyzing their mutual needs and bringing them together to conduct the transaction.

While the terms of the transaction were not disclosed, Horizon's size is likely to make this one of the largest residential HVAC transactions of 2017. Horizon currently operates six locations between Connecticut and Maryland and manages more than 500 HVAC professionals.
