Shawn McMenimen joins Gen II Fund Services as Senior Managing Director
NEW YORK, March 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Gen II Fund Services, LLC, a leading independent private equity fund administrator, today announced that Shawn McMenimen has joined the firm as Senior Managing Director.
Shawn will be responsible for managing various client relationships and oversight of Gen II's compliance department. In this role, he will work closely with Steven Alecia, Gen II's Chief Client Officer, and Yuliana Gekhel, Senior Managing Director, to optimize technology and control processes to support business growth. Mr. McMenimen has over 17 years of private equity fund administration experience, and joins Gen II from State Street, where he led a large glo bal team as a Managing Director of Private Equity Fund Administration and Limited Partner Performance & Analytics in the Alternative Investment Solutions division. Shawn joined State Street as part of the acquisition of Investors Bank and Trust Company in 2007 and was a senior leader in the development and growth of State Street's private equity offering. He led efforts to design and implement a global operating model for private equity fund of funds administration, and optimized servicing of private equity funds with complex strategies and investment processing requirements, such as Senior Loans, distressed debt, and other credit products. Shawn was also instrumental in the development of an administration model for the unique requirements of Business Development Companies.
