Shelter Insurance® Selects PCMS' Atlas™ Cloud P&C Solution

DALLAS, Sept. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PCMS, a provider of comprehensive, cloud-based IT solutions for P&C insurers, today announced that Shelter Mutual Insurance Company has selected PCMS' Atlas hosted platform for its new independent agent distribution channel.  PCMS' Atlas will process and host all rating, underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims management and reporting needs for Shelter's American Shield Insurance subsidiary in early 2015.

PCMS' hosted, cloud-based model will enable American Shield to take advantage of the industry's latest technology while quickly and efficiently entering new markets unencumbered by IT roadblocks. American Shield independent agents will benefit from PCMS' real-time, robust agent portal, giving them 24/7 access to quoting/policy issuance, correspondence, billing, claims and management report access.
