Sheraton Erie Bayfront an Across-the-Board Winner

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Jan. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Of the 203 Sheraton hotels in North America, the Food & Beverage Department at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront has achieved the top ranking for 2011.  In 2010, this same department was ranked in the top one percent of the brand.

Collins went on to say that it wasn't just the Food & Beverage Department that was recognized for excellence, "Across the board we really made an impact."  The Sheraton Erie Bayfront ranked in the top one percent in the In-room Dining and Restaurant Food Quality categories and in the top two percent in the Overall Experience, Overall Physical Appearance, Overall Guest Loyalty, Cleanliness, Maintenance and Restaurant Service Categories.

In terms if speed and efficiency of check-out, room decor, bed comfort, room cleanliness and maintenance, and the overall experience at breakfast, the hotel was ranked in the top three percent in the brand. Check-in speed and efficiency and the overall arrival experience ranked in the top four and five percent respectively.  "Of the six remaining categories, in which we were judged, we ranked within the top ten percent of the brand and we improved all rankings over last year," Collins shared.
