Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel Recognized

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., April 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sheraton Erie, Pennsylvania Bayfront Hotel was recently recognized for management excellence at the 2011 Reach the Peak Starwood East Coast Sales and Operations Kickoff conference in Boston. Managed by White Lodging, the Sheraton Erie Bayfront is the sole Sheraton property in the company's portfolio and garnered the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Preferred Management Company status.

In other awards, the Sheraton Erie Bayfront was also honored at White Lodging's 2010 Annual Awards Gala held at the new JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Indianapolis.  At this event, the property was named a White Lodging Gold Hotel and, with its food and beverage operation ranked within the top one percent in the brand, Thomas Bednar was named White Lodging Food & Beverage Manager of the Year.
