DALLAS, Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Shield HealthCare, a leading provider serving the medical supply needs of the growing population of caregivers and families who manage medical care at home, has relocated its Dallas operations and distribution to a larger facility in Carrollton, Texas. The new facility, the Central Region Operations Center, offers Shield new and expanded resources for continuing growth in Texas and positioning the company for expanded reach to additional markets throughout the central and eastern United States. Shield, with 59 years of experience, has an industry-leading customer satisfaction rate of 99% based on recent surveys conducted by Press Ganey Associates, Inc. The new Carrollton facility provides the resources to allow Shield to gain efficiencies and to better serve its expanding customer base.
The new 52,000 square foot facility accommodates Shield HealthCare's local team of 125 home medical supply experts including a state-of-the-art Customer Care Center and Distribution facility. In addition, Shield will be importing Utilization Review, Human Resources and Information Technology personnel as part of its effort to bring its services closer to the consumer they serve.
Through a local community presence, Shield HealthCare ensures highly accessible resources to responsively serve the home medical supply needs of its customers, their caregivers and referral partners.
