Shinola Debuts The Wright Brothers™ Limited Edition Watch & Bicycle

DETROIT, Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Shinola introduces The Wright Brothers™ Limited Edition Watch, created to honor the Wrights' incredible contribution to America's history of innovation and industry. 

Each timepiece comes in a special custom gift box with a certificate of authenticity, leather card wallet, leather carrying case, and a hickory watch box. Also included is a leather-bound coffee table book that delves into the background and achievements of the Wright brothers, featuring rare imagery from the Wright brothers' private collection.

A private launch event to kick off the Great Americans Series and unveil the watch and bicycle was held at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit—permanent location of the Wright brothers' bike shop and childhood home. In working with the Wright family, Shinola was gifted a piece of original wing cloth from the Wright Flyer I. At the event, Shinola and the Wright family donated a piece of the original Wright Flyer I wing cloth to the Henry Ford Museum.
