New series brings together executives, technologists and innovators to explore where XR is today, where it's headed and what business leaders need to know
JAFFREY, N.H., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shivoo Studios, an immersive media and XR production company, today announced Reality Reframe, a new podcast and video series exploring extended reality through candid conversations with the people building, implementing and experiencing the technology firsthand.
Hosted by Alison Dean, Reality Reframe is designed to make immersive technology understandable and useful to business leaders—without the hype or marketing speak.
Each conversation explores the questions leaders should be asking as immersive technology continues to evolve: What is it? Where is it going? What should organizations do next? And what should they avoid?
"There's a real gap between what people think XR is and what the technology is capable of today," said Sterling Youngman, CEO of Shivoo Studios. "Some people have never experienced it. Others may be judging it based on something they tried years ago—or an experience that simply wasn't very good. Reality Reframe is about learning from the past, understanding where we are today and looking at what's coming next by hearing from the people who have actually done the work—the good, the bad and everything in between."
Upcoming conversations will feature voices from across immersive technology, entertainment, interactive experiences and business, including Jon Snoddy, co-founder and CEO of Operative Games and former head of Research & Development, Technology and AI studios at Walt Disney Imagineering; Spencer Lindsay, founder of eTribe; Bob Chambers, co-CEO of The Producers Group; and Peiman Fallahian Sichani, XR creative technologist and co-founder of Agora XR.
Together, these guests bring perspectives spanning interactive storytelling, real-time 3D, themed entertainment, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Future episodes will feature both people who helped shape the field and those actively building and implementing what comes next.
"You shouldn't need to be an XR expert to understand why this technology matters," said Dean. "My job is to ask the questions a smart, curious business leader would want answered—and sometimes the questions they may not know to ask yet. If every conversation leaves someone seeing the possibilities, risks or decisions a little differently, we've done our job."
As immersive technologies move beyond experimentation into real-world applications, Reality Reframe will look beyond the success stories to examine what actually happened: what worked, what didn't, what changed along the way and what others can learn from the experience.
The series is also inviting people on both sides of the XR experience to join the conversation. Business leaders who have commissioned or implemented immersive projects—as well as the technologists, studios and creators who have built them—are encouraged to share their experiences, including projects that succeeded, projects that fell short and lessons learned along the way. Those interested in sharing their story or being considered for a future conversation can contact [email protected].
The technology is changing. Reality Reframe asks whether it may also be time to change the way we look at it.
Reality Reframe will be available in audio and video formats on major podcast platforms and YouTube, with launch details and additional guests to be announced soon.
