Leading Athlete Protection & Performance Companies to Maintain Business as Usual Following Merger
MINNETONKA, Minn. and WOODRIDGE, Ill., April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Shock Doctor Sports and McDavid Inc. jointly announced today finalization of the transaction officially merging the two leading sports protection companies.

Financial terms were not released and both companies will continue to operate independently for the near term. Mr. Armand will be the CEO of the combined businesses with Mr. McDavid serving as Chairman of the Board. William Blair & Co. and Dechert LLP advised Shock Doctor, while Imperial Capital, LLC and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP advised McDavid throughout the merger.
