ShoreTel Appoints Engineering Top Executive to Accelerate Product Innovation & Growth

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ShoreTel® (NASDAQ: SHOR), the leading provider of brilliantly simple unified communications platforms including business phone systems, applications and mobile UC solutions, today announced the appointment of Pankaj Malhotra as senior vice president of engineering. Malhotra has joined ShoreTel's business operations team where he is responsible for the strategic and tactical execution of ShoreTel's complete product line for both premise and cloud.

Malhotra brings to ShoreTel more than 20 years of engineering leadership experience at enterprise technology companies such as Juniper Networks, Cisco, Hughes Network Systems and DCM Data Systems. Most recently, he served as the vice president of engineering at Juniper Networks where he was responsible for all aspects of product engineering for Juniper's wireless LAN portfolio and network management for all Juniper enterprise products. He has deep experience in VoIP, wireless LANs and platform consolidation and has multiple patents issued in the field of data networking.
