ShoreTel Appoints New Board Member

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ShoreTel® (NASDAQ: SHOR), the leading provider of brilliantly simple phone systems and unified communications (UC) solutions, today announced the appointment of Shane Robison to its board of directors as of February 12, 2015. He has also been appointed as a member of the Compensation Committee.  Also effective February 12, 2015, Gary Daichendt resigned from the board of directors.

Robison was CEO of Fusion-io until its purchase by SanDisk in July 2014. Previously he spent nine years at HP and two years at Compaq, including roles as executive vice president, chief technology officer, and chief strategy officer. Robison was the president of Internet technology and development at AT&T Labs where he was responsible for the development of the company's common, open IP platform. For four years Robison served senior management roles in Engineering and R&D at Cadence Design Systems, and worked for eight years at Apple Inc. in a variety of positions in the personal interactive electronics, Macintosh desktop products, and advanced technology divisions.
