During the Company's nationwide teleconference yesterday, Brian Barrett, CEO, and Tammy Posten, Secretary and Treasurer of Shot Spirits Corporation, were able to update the financial community about developments within the Company including marketing campaigns, competitive advantage, sales opportunities and strategic partnerships for its subsidiaries.
Mr. Barrett explained how GuestMetrics provides restaurant, bar and hotel operators with GuestSnapshot, an enterprise reporting tool that measures and evaluates KeyMetrics reporting, server performance, labor, fraud and promotional effectiveness. It was explained by Mr. Barrett that GuestMetrics has no identifiable competition in data collection within the collective segments of the hospitality industry, and is able to sell the information back to suppliers. This competitive advantage has enabled the Company to break into 8 metropolitan markets that include New York City, Washington DC, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles and the State of Texas where they collect data from over 2800 restaurants and hotels.
Mr. Barrett also mentioned during the Nationwide teleconference that GuestMetrics has continued its relationships with Bacardi, Morgan Stanley, American Express, Pernod Ricard, Republic National Distributing, Chili's and T.G.I. Fridays franchisees, amongst others. These companies utilize GuestMetrics data to analyze sales trends and consumer behavior within the hospitality industry. Mr. Barrett stated that GuestMetrics is developing a wide range marketing campaign targeting both users of the Company's data, as well as, continuing to add venues where GuestMetrics can collect data and add to its database.
Tammy Posten, President of Shot Spirits International, explained that the company has been working on introducing the ShotPak® brand to leading distributors worldwide. The ShotPak® brand is currently being distributed in 12 states including Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Globally, the ShotPak® product line is making great strides, currently offering distribution in over 19 countries. Ms. Posten also mentioned that the ShotPak® is currently testing with one of the largest distributors in the United States. Once successful, this distributor will take the ShotPak® brand into 22 additional states.
Ms. Posten discussed Shot Spirits International's relationship with Beverage Pouch Group (BPG) in which the Company controls 15% of ownership and receives in royalties on every case sold. Ms. Posten explained that Shot Spirits International has been engaged in discussions with sports stadiums and other outside venues interested in replacing glass and paper cups, which would in turn save them 35% in waste.
