Shriners Hospitals for Children launches Birdies for Charity

The supporter with the correct, or closest, guess will win a VIP experience at the 2018 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas, Nevada. If multiple individuals guess the correct number of birdies, the winner will be selected via random drawing. Visit lovetotherescue.org/birdies-for-charity to donate and guess the number of birdies.

An official PGA TOUR event, Shriners Hospitals for Children Open will be held November 2 – November 5 at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 2008, the tournament has served as a means for Shriners Hospitals for Children to raise awareness for its innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. Birdies will be recorded during four completed rounds of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Thursday, November 2 through Sunday, November 5. The individual with the correct, or closest, guess will win an ultimate Las Vegas getaway, which includes:

• Round trip airfare for two (2) to Las Vegas for the 2018 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open
• Three (3) nights hotel accommodations
• VIP experience at the tournament during the 3^rd and 4^th rounds
• Two (2) tickets to a Las Vegas show
• Meet-and-greet opportunity with the 2018 tournament champion

Other great prizes include autographed tournament pin flags and tournament apparel packages that will be given at random to the next closest guesses. The tournament covers all Birdies for Charity administrative costs and turns over 100% of all monies collected to Shriners Hospitals for Children. To add some friendly competition, the Shriners Hospitals location that receives the most monetary donations via the Birdies for Charity program will host the 2018 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open Media Day. The event will include a hospital tour for the 2017 tournament champion and provide an opportunity for local supporters to participate.
