Sidus Space Appoints Larry G. Swets Jr., CFA, to Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chair

Public Company CEO and Director of More Than a Dozen Listed Companies Brings Financial Oversight, Issuer-Side Capital Markets, and Governance Experience

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sidus Space, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIDU) ("Sidus" or the "Company"), a vertically integrated space and defense technology company, today announced the appointment of Larry G. Swets Jr., CFA, to its Board of Directors as an independent director, effective October 5, 2026. Mr. Swets will chair the Board's Audit Committee, where his financial expertise will support oversight of the Company's financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.

Mr. Swets brings more than 25 years of experience in investment management, capital markets, and public company leadership. As chief executive officer of multiple listed companies, he has led capital raises, acquisitions, and business combinations from the issuer's side. He has also served as chief executive officer, chairman, or director of more than a dozen publicly traded companies listed on the Nasdaq, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Toronto Stock Exchange.

(NASDAQ: FGNX). He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of FG Financial Group from 2020 to 2024, Kingsway Financial Services Inc. from 2010 to 2018, and GreenFirst Forest Products from 2016 to 2021.

Mr. Swets began his career at Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company (Kemper Insurance) as Director of Investments and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. He holds a B.A. from Valparaiso University and an M.S. in Finance from DePaul University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).
