Siegel+Gale Appoints Branding Veteran Steve Santangelo as Strategy Director

With more than 25 years of experience in branding and marketing, Santangelo brings deep industry knowledge and unique problem solving skills to Siegel+Gale's growing roster of clients. In his new role, Santangelo will lead branding engagements for a range of clients—building world-class brands through the lens of simplicity.

Santangelo's professional background includes strategic branding experience in technology, financial services, consumer products and nation branding.

Prior to joining Siegel+Gale, Steve was senior director of consulting at FutureBrand North America and Middle East. During his tenure he led branding engagements for a variety of clients including Underwriters and Laboratories Saudi Aramco, Nakheel, Batelco, Bahrain International Airport and LeisureCorp. Additionally, Santangelo helped bolster FutureBrand's country branding practice as the lead developer of the firm's annual Country Brand Index.  He also led the repositioning of Qatar and St. Lucia and provided brand consulting for Peru, Mexico, Hungary, Singapore and Australia.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in government studies and philosophy from the University of Virginia.
