Siegel+Gale implemented a new strategic branding platform to re-introduce the public to the United States Mint. The firm created a new logo, an elegant new website and developed a fresh brand idea for the bureau with the tagline, "Connecting America through Coins." The United States Mint produces and circulates legal coinage for the nation to conduct its trade and commerce. The bureau also produces collector coins.
Siegel+Gale's work with The "Y" (formerly known as the YMCA) also received the 2011 Rebrand 100® Merit award for its development of the non-profit organization's revitalized brand platform.
In addition to the "Best of Awards" from Rebrand 100, Siegel+Gale clients received honors from other major branding competitions during the past year. The firm received two Transform Awards for its work with the Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) for a corporate and non-profit rebrand, and one Web Marketing Association's WebAward honoring outstanding achievement in Web development on behalf of American Express.
"Branding programs can be very powerful tools for established organizations that are launching new 'go to' market strategies," said Howard Belk, co-CEO of Siegel+Gale. "We're extremely proud that Rebrand 100 has recognized the effectiveness of the Mint and 'Y' work."
"Our work marries in-depth strategic insight and unexpectedly fresh creative expression to push brands beyond the conventional," says Justin Peters, global executive creative director. "From government and healthcare, to technology and non-profits, we're bringing new life to the world's most respected and beloved brands."
