SIG SAUER Congratulates Mason Lane on his World Championship Win

NEWINGTON, N.H., Oct. 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- SIG SAUER Inc., industry-leading manufacturer of cutting-edge firearms, optics, and ammunition, is proud to congratulate Team SIG member Mason Lane on his incredible success at the 2025 International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) Handgun World Shoot held at the Frontier Shooting range in Stilfontein, South Africa. Mason walked away champion of the men's overall production division and helped capture the men's production team silver in the team's race.

The event was the largest IPSC world shoot, spanning 12 days of competition with 1,626 competitors representing 76 countries. Mason competed with a P320X5 Legion in the production division, a highly competitive division with significant restrictions on pistol modifications. The X5 Legion is the ultimate handgun for any serious shooter and is an ideal candidate for a stock racing division pistol.

Mason joined Team SIG in 2024, and has been a tremendous asset to the team. His accomplishments include four USPSA National Championships, three IPSC National Championships, and numerous USPSA Area (and other) match wins. Additionally, he is a USPSA Grandmaster and IDPA distinguished master.

Fortunately, I was able to climb out of the hole I was in with two exceptional days of performances and ultimately take the match.
