Sigmatel Provides the Wireless Broadband Service for Marrakech Grand Prix in Morocco with Altai Super Wifi Technology

HONG KONG, April 30 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Altai Technologies, a carrier-grade Super WiFi equipment supplier today announced that it has supplied the Altai Super WiFi equipment for the Marrakech Grand Prix WTCC commencing in Morocco on Apr 30 -- May 2, 2010. SIGMATEL, a leading system integrator in North Africa and Middle East region was awarded the contract to design and build the wireless network using Altai's Super WiFi equipment for this prestigious FIA World Touring Car Championship event.

The organizer of the Marrakech Grand Prix WTCC 2010 conducted many field trials of various WiFi systems and they selected Altai's Super WiFi solution due to its superior performance. The wireless network covers the entire circuit, including the ticket counters and the media center.
