The 67-facility healthcare provider increased completed applications 47% and total hires 17% after replacing its legacy ATS and fragmented recruiting technology
HOLMDEL, N.J., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ICIMS, the Intelligent Hiring Platform, today announced that it has helped Signature HealthCARE transform its talent acquisition strategy and consolidate its recruiting technology, increasing nursing applicants by 52%, completed applications by 47% and total hires by 17% since implementing the ICIMS Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Signature HealthCARE is a long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation and home health provider operating 67 facilities across five states.
Signature HealthCARE implemented ICIMS ATS in February 2024 to replace its legacy ATS and fragmented recruiting technology stack, which included seven separate vendors. Since then, the organization has also increased nursing hires specifically by 17.5%, recruiter screens and interviews by 50% and offers by 21%. The organization reduced applicant completion time to under 60 seconds and achieved an average time to hire of 11 days.
By consolidating recruiting and hiring workflows on ICIMS, Signature HealthCARE has automated manual processes, improved visibility into recruiting performance and created a more connected experience from application through onboarding.
"For a healthcare organization like Signature HealthCARE, having the right people in the right roles at the right time is essential to the business and the communities it serves," said Marc Thompson, CEO of ICIMS. "Their results show what happens when you connect the hiring process, reduce friction and give talent teams the visibility they need to make better decisions. That is the kind of enterprise value we want ICIMS to deliver for every customer."
Selecting ICIMS ATS for High-Volume Healthcare Hiring
Before Signature HealthCARE replaced its legacy ATS in 2024, the organization evaluated several leading platforms before selecting ICIMS.
"The organization looked at Workday, Jobvite and Greenhouse, but ICIMS was the only one that could bring our whole hiring process together in one platform," said the SVP of talent acquisition at Signature HealthCARE. "A few of us had used it before and already knew what ICIMS could do."
Signature HealthCARE has been an ICIMS customer since 2020, initially using ICIMS Text Engagement, and expanded its use of the platform in 2024 with the addition of ICIMS ATS. Today, ICIMS supports connected recruiting, hiring and onboarding workflows for the organization's talent acquisition team that fills approximately 6,000 roles each year, primarily frontline clinical positions such as CNAs, RNs and LPNs.
Measurable Hiring Impact with ICIMS
Since implementing the ICIMS ATS, Signature HealthCARE has seen significant return, including:
- 52% increase in nursing applicants and 17.5% increase in nursing hires
- 47% increase in completed applications
- 17% increase in total hires
- 50% increase in recruiter screens and interviews
- 21% increase in offers
- Less than 60 seconds to complete an application
- 11-day average time to hire
- 6.1% applicant-to-hire conversion
The organization also saw a significant improvement in its employer ranking within the skilled nursing sector on Glassdoor, moving from 4,500th to 165th between February 2024 and February 2025.
Automating Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding with ICIMS
With ICIMS, Signature HealthCARE has continued to replace manual processes and point solutions with connected workflows. Hiring automation helps their recruiters automate repetitive tasks such as candidate status updates, accommodation notifications and IT equipment requests, reducing manual clicks and administrative work. Interview scheduling capabilities replaced a standalone scheduling process and helps automate candidate outreach and coordination.
ICIMS also gives recruiters visibility into candidates throughout the hiring journey. With ICIMS Onboarding, talent acquisition teams can see what candidates still need to complete after accepting an offer, without relying on separate HRIS checks. By helping new hires onboard faster, organizations can get people into their roles and contribute value sooner.
These capabilities have helped Signature HealthCARE give its talent acquisition team greater visibility into performance and a more strategic role within the organization.
"Going from an antiquated ATS to where we are now is one story," the SVP of talent acquisition added. "But the real story is everything we built after that: interview scheduling, hiring automation, our volunteer program and onboarding, all in just two and a half years since go-live."
