Signature Wealth Kicks Off Summer Internship Program to Cultivate the Next Generation of Financial Advisors

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C., June 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Signature Wealth Group, a forward-looking, multigenerational wealth-management practice, announced today the start of its 2025 Summer Internship Program. The initiative brings four rising college seniors, each majoring in finance, to the firm's Pawleys Island office for an immersive, eight-week experience designed to expand the talent pipeline and proactively address the advisor shortage facing the financial services industry.

A Comprehensive, Hands-On Curriculum
Under the leadership of firm partner John Chidwick, interns will rotate through core areas of a contemporary advisory practice, including:

• Financial-planning software and portfolio-construction tools
• Behavioral-finance frameworks for client decision-making
• Compliance fundamentals and industry best practices

To round out their experience, interns will receive:

• Leadership & professional-development sessions covering team structure, time management, and client communication
• Investment-analysis workshops focused on both fundamental and technical approaches
• Guest presentations from Signature advisors, strategic partners, and valued vendors

Each participant will work to prepare for and have the opportunity to sit for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, completing one of the three core licensing requirements before graduation.
