Amanda Sherbon, RN, was recognized for providing exceptional care to patients and dedication to her colleagues

Amanda Sherbon, a registered nurse (RN) at SignatureCare Emergency Center in Midland, Texas, received the DAISY® Award for Extraordinary Nurses in recognition of her outstanding contributions to patients' well-being and for consistently demonstrating exceptional compassion toward patients and colleagues.

Amanda was nominated for the DAISY® Award by a coworker who praised her for being extremely smart and an outstanding nurse.

DAISY® Award honoree Amanda said winning the award meant more than she could put into words, and that being a nurse has taught her that the smallest things can make a difference to a patient's health.
