Sika Corporation Industry and Automotive Divisions Announce Management Promotions

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Dec. 13, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Sika Corporation Industry and Automotive division announces management promotions.  Mr. Scott Henry is promoted to the position of Senior Vice President – Industry, effective August 1, 2010, Mr. Dave Jones is promoted to the position of Senior Vice President - Automotive, effective November 1, 2010 and Mr. Thomas Hasler is promoted to the position of Head of Global Automotive, effective August 1, 2010.

Mr. Scott Henry joined Sika Industry in 1997 as a Product Engineer, and has held various positions including Product Engineering Manager, Director of Product Engineering, and as Vice President - Transportation and Appliance & Components Business Units.  In his new role, Scott will report directly to Mr. Paul Schuler, President & CEO Sika Corporation and will join the Sika Corporation Executive Team.

Mr. Dave Jones joined Sika Corporation in 1995 as an Application Engineer and has held various positions including Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager and during the period of 2000 -2004 served in Europe as the VP of Engineering for Sika Automotive Europe. In 2005 on his return he was promoted to the position of Vice President of Automotive Engineering.  In his new role as Senior Vice President he will be responsible for leading the OEM and OES businesses for the Automotive Division in North America, and will report directly to Mr. Thomas Hasler.

Mr. Thomas Hasler, formerly Senior Vice President of Industry USA and Automotive North America, has been appointed Head of Global Automotive. He will reside in Switzerland, fully assuming his expanded global duties by January 1, 2011.
