GENEVA, July 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Silent Circle is today announcing that its entire range of devices and software are now fully certified by SOTI Inc., the world's leading provider of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy management.
Earlier this year Silent Circle unveiled the world's first enterprise privacy platform, a unique combination of devices, software and services, based upon and built from a fundamentally different mobile architecture – ZRTP. It included the announcement of the next generation Blackphone, the company's privacy-first smartphone.
In the lead up to the launch of the next generation Blackphone, Silent Circle will be announcing a series of innovations to its enterprise privacy platform.
Vishal Gupta, Chief Product and IoT Officer at Silent Circle said:
"There are organizations that have been hacked and there are those that don't know about it yet, which means that security in the traditional sense has failed us. As we get closer to the launch of the next generation Blackphone - which has been built to offer enterprises privacy without compromise – we will be announcing new innovations to our enterprise privacy platform to ensure our customers are fully protected."
A particular area of focus for the company has been enterprise solutions that provide users with the tools they need to protect the privacy of their workforces' communications. To meet this need, Silent Circle has been working with SOTI Inc., leading to today's announcement that Blackphone devices have achieved certification status under SOTI's OEM program, allowing deep management and flexibility for policy-driven IT controls.
In addition, the partnership will allow current SOTI users to access Silent Circle's core set of applications that enable private, encrypted communication. The Silent Suite sets the standard for enterprise privacy and is available on the Blackphone as well as iOS and Android devices.
"Protecting sensitive personal or corporate data while providing reliable and stable service is crucial to a successful mobile strategy," said Shash Anand, SOTI VP of Strategic Alliances. "Offering security and privacy without compromise is integral to what SOTI and Silent Circle can bring to the security-conscious enterprise. Through our partnership with Silent Circle, we can ensure that users experience nothing but satisfaction while providing IT with the confidence to securely manage user devices without hindering productivity.
Joint client of Silent Circle and SOTI, Mark Bowman, Managing Director of Livvy's commented:
"Our clients recognize that security alone isn't enough. This addition from Silent Circle will enhance mobility security with Silent Circle's privacy platform and maintain seamless management through SOTI's EMM and BYOD controls. It's an innovative combination of two powerful technologies that will deliver a unique opportunity for businesses."
With two decades of leadership in the EMM space, SOTI has developed a reputation based on its consultative approach, advanced EMM solutions and expertise that has allowed its partners to build and grow their mobility management practices.
