The Part Marking feature makes it easy to find the correct component parts along with the ability to identify and flag counterfeit parts.  In addition, the expansion of Advanced Parametric queries has improved the user's ability to compare and source alternative electronic components. The newly released Community features provide users with collaboration tools to contribute to and share a knowledge base either within their company only or across the SiliconExpert user community.

With SiliconExpert's advanced BOM Manager (http://www.siliconexpert.com/bommanager) Export function, users are able to summarize large bill of materials component data into actionable results. The new BOM Manager Export function enables users to generate custom reports for key decision makers to manage risk on their electronic components on a regular basis. Custom reports which can be downloaded to excel cover Multi-Sourcing, Lifecycle Trending, RoHS, REACH, parametric data and more.

In addition, Corporate Part Lists (CPL) can now be integrated with SiliconExpert's database. This allows users to combine internal information such as pricing, quantity and other business data with SiliconExpert's database. With a centralized interface to manage Corporate Part Lists, users can search and filter on internal corporate part numbers in addition to manufacturer part numbers.
