SilverSEAL Corporation Acquires 'MJG Global' Consultancy -- Names Michael J. Griffin as Vice President of SilverSEAL Global Operations

NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- SilverSEAL Corporation ("SilverSEAL"), a premier global security and investigations company, announced today the strategic acquisition of MJG Global ("MJG"), a risk management consultancy with expertise in emergency preparedness planning, intelligence analysis, counterterrorism threat mitigation strategies, risk and vulnerability assessments, business continuity and physical security program design and specialized training for public and private entities. MJG was owned and lead by Managing Director Michael J. Griffin. As part of this acquisition, SEAL has reached an agreement with Mr. Griffin to assume the role of Vice President of SilverSEAL Global Operations. Mr. Griffin will capitalize on his experience with MJG and his diverse and distinguished career with the United States Coast Guard, to assist SEAL in the strategic development and management of our global security programs for corporations and government agencies.

In his former position as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Michael served as Sector Senior Reserve Officer, NORTHCOM Branch Chief in a Joint Department of Defense Transportation Command, Maritime Port Security Officer, ICS Planning Section Chief, Intelligence Officer, Law Enforcement Officer, Homeland Security Coordinator and Readiness Planner. He was the USCG liaison for development of maritime security plans for port operations during the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York City.

Mr. Griffin holds a Bachelor of Science in Government from the United States Coast Guard Academy and a Master of Science in Disaster and Emergency Management from Touro University.
