Simplified Logistics Announces Key Hires of Experienced Logistics Executives, Sheila Taylor and John Centers

WESTLAKE, Ohio and NEW YORK, Nov. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Simplified Logistics ("Simplified"), a third-party logistics provider with a focus on less-than-truckload transportation management services, announced today that Sheila Taylor has been hired as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategy, and John Centers has joined as Executive Vice President of Sales. Simplified Logistics is majority owned by the Simplified management team and CI Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm.

Previously, Ms. Taylor was the Vice President of Logistics for Sam's Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Ms. Taylor also served as Chief Financial Officer at several leading logistics companies including YRC Worldwide, Menlo Logistics and CEVA Logistics.  Mr. Centers has over 21 years' experience in the transportation and logistics industry, including senior sales management roles at Pilot Flying J and Hub Group.  Ms. Taylor and Mr. Centers will join the Simplified leadership team alongside Sam Avampato, President, and Mark Yeager, CEO.
