Simply Measured, a leading social media analytics and measurement platform, increased their customer reach by 235 percent and increased overall traffic to lead nurturing content by 124 percent as a result of the partnership.
The Marketo and GoChime partnership helps brands use their internal marketing automation strategies to guide and coordinate advertisements across multiple social media advertising channels. Simply Measured used the integration to automatically reach their prospect lists with Twitter and Facebook advertisements.
Simply Measured uses Marketo to run a weekly email newsletter program with the primary goal of driving prospects to their blog to engage with content. "Email has inherent limits because not everyone opens. We wanted to reach a larger portion of our prospect list and get them to engage with our content," said Nate Smitha, Marketing Manager at Simply Measured.
Through the integration, email addresses were anonymously matched to Twitter and Facebook profiles. When there was a match, that individual was served an advertisement. GoChime kept the records up-to-date in near real-time; if data changed in Marketo, GoChime automatically made the change on Facebook and Twitter so that prospects saw the right content at the right time. Newsletter subscribers were automatically served Twitter and Facebook advertisements with the same content in the form of an ad.
