Singer-songwriter Angela Predhomme partners with University of Michigan Glee Club members on new single release "Hidden Wings"
Predhomme releases the first single from her new album "Love" on June 29
ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Singer-songwriter Angela Predhomme announces the first single from her new album, "Love." The uplifting and soulful song, "Hidden Wings" is set for release on June 29. Predhomme is a songwriter, producer, singer and recording artist from the Detroit metro area.

The backing choir, consisting of 8 members of the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club, comes in about halfway through the song. The UMMGC was founded in 1859 and is the 2nd oldest college singing group in the country, after Harvard. It is also the oldest student organization at the University of Michigan.
"Working with these singers was a great experience," Predhomme says. "Their energy was fresh and fun, and they're excellent singers. It was an honor to work with them. Also, I'm grateful they took the time out to record during their final exam week."
In general, Predhomme's music is positive, soulful, feel-good and laid-back. Her style is similar to Norah Jones or Ingrid Michaelson.
About her new single "Hidden Wings," she says, "This is an important song to me because it's about breaking free from the things that keep us from living the life we really want to, and taking that leap of faith. It's about believing in ourselves and finding that courage."
