NEW YORK, Aug. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Singer/songwriter Lauren Hashian and Grammy-nominated recording artist, Naz Tokio release their latest collaboration, "Samson" today. The powerful new single was produced by Mike Zombie, mastermind behind Drake's "Started From The Bottom" and DJ Khaled's "They Don't Love You No More" featuring Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Jay-Z and French Montana.
The newly released track will be featured in an upcoming episode in HBO's comedy series, BALLERS Season 4. "Samson" follows Hashian's 2017 release, "Go Hard," a collaboration with Walter French, which was selected by ESPN as an official song for the 2017 WNBA season.
"Naz and I wanted to show the balance of tender versus powerful in this song," says Hashian, " Samson' represents how we can be vulnerable and go through moments that make you lose trust or faith, but also how we rise from the ashes, find our strength and light even through all the dark."
"'Samson' is a song about reminding a person you love that they are worthy, beautiful, and powerful – especially in times of weakness," says Naz Tokio. "It's a reminder that you are there to fight their battles right alongside them…their warrior and their protector kissing their demons away."
